Your work is stunning Gene, the composition hightlights the dog very well despite the fact he is under the immensity of this mesmerising celestial vault, he could have been “erased“, “eaten“ a little by the magic of the sky, but no, you did great !!! The way you balance your composition is really subtle, and this dog is really the centre of the structure. Indeed, we see him popping in the core of your canvas, with this smart golden caress of sunlight projected on the road, where the white lines on the bitumen “cut“ the road with an elegant visual effect, just before the turn, and i love to see all this play with curves and straight lines, they stage the bulldog in an interestering & delicate way. Also, you give a conceptual touch to your piece : on the pannel we understand we go out from a tunnel (“Tunnel lights out“), with the double meaning of the common expression : “the light at the end of the tunnel“ that could be understood in the subjective way : it is like a payoff after a dark period, and this dreamscape is litterally a treasure for the eyes, like a rainbow after the rain... !! The composition is perfect with a lot of movement given mainly by the road, and the enchanting milky way. The colors are the right combination with intense honey and marmalade that contrast well with deep dark shades, this chromatic receipe is perfect Gene !!!!!! What's more, with this special light, you softens little all your shadows, to bring a “retro“ stylish warm effect on all your creation !!!! This rich diagonal of chinese shadows forest figures, seem to stretch until touching the starry explosive bow, on the top right corner, while the sunset appears like an hypnotizing eye that warm all this piece, and lull it with special vibes !! All this journey the dog did, was worth it to discover much delight, an outstanding and memorable spectacle !! Muchas gracias to make me dream everyday Gene !!!
