In ME2 Grunt told Shepard that Quarians (and turians) were not as soft as the other races, so I thought they might have some plates on their body.
I kept the eye shape as seen through her mask, and used the line on their forehead and "eyebrow" as seen on that in game pic as a base for my concept.
I tried to keep her innocent looking, thus the nose and mouth became rather subtle I think. I imagined Tali with relatively short and simple hair that fits in the enviro-suit comfortably.

I think I might draw Kal'Reegar too someday.
