No he is NOT right... Venom and Carnage look almost EXACTLY the same. The major differences: Venom is black and has a spider on his chest (white most of the time), and Carnage is just red. The reason why ezseek said this is probably because he knows little of Carnage just like most out there, since Venom is the most popular. Anyways, Nice job on this! It is simply perfect!
