Description I know I've already mentioned multiple times how much I loved this movie, so I'll refrain from talking about it again. At least, I'll try. ^^

Soooo, Minion!
Yup, I felt the inescapable need to make my own little Minion sculpt, since I found him so gosh-darned adorable! He's not exact but I'm overall quite pleased, even with his coloring.

However, this was my first time using Super Sculpey (instead of Sculpey III) and painting a sculpt. Do you think it all turned out ok?? I may still go back and add a glaze to him, but I'm up in the air about it. Opinions?

Also, do you think it would be just a little too nerdy to wear him as a necklace charm when I go see the movie a second time tomorrow?

Made with Super Sculpey, paint, some patience, and lots of love~! Oh, and markers.

Isn't he? ^^ Ah, unfortunately, mine ended up being a little fragile for his intended use as a necklace charm. If you're interested in sculpting, I totally recommend trying to make one, but if you do, I highly suggest using a wire armature.

I used an oven-bake clay called "Super Sculpey". It's really fun to play with, I definitely recommend it. ^^

And I did end up wearing it as a necklace! However, his little fins broke off after a few times. So maybe I shouldn't have. Oh well.

I really like this . I wishe I could make make a Sculpt with such details. The last one I made was... well... not so good^^. One question: how big is your sculpture? The thing in the background looks like a ruler but I can't really see it.

It's about 3/4inch tall (not counting the tentacles) and 1 inch long. Sorry the picture wasn't very clear on his size! (But thanks for mentioning it. I usually take a picture right next to the ruler, but I guess I forgot this time.)
Perhaps you should try sculpting again, if it's something you tried before and liked.
