i didn't lie when i said i forgot how to color digitally,, but after several desperateful trials of coloring i then thought,"f**k this s**t, i'll just practice and totally change style "
so i tried one layer coloring and painting. turned out nice, i think i'll stick with it; it saves a lot memory *nods*
sadly i cannot make detailed BG yet, it's so difficult..and this one looks weird...

The card indicates the aspects of guidance, introspection, seeking solitude and withdrawing from the world.
Slatey picked a nice character and theme, it fits him well. And since Dari lived in a swamp i made it as BG, though i'm sure his home is far scarier than this <_<;; ah, and he does use the lantern with style~

Yuri for your first try at a new style, this really is amazing. I knew it would come out awesome. I love the feel of it, and even if the bg is detailed, it really brings it all together. ;w; I think that if you did something SUPER complicated, it just wouldn't be the same.
Just let me sit here and stare at it all day. *procrastination from my hw*

Sometimes simple, is the way to go.
Quite frankly, even if you say this is simple, it looks really complex to me. =w= I think your just used to your super complicated stuff.

And his swamp was really big. It really depended on where you were in the swamp. The edges were nicer, the deeper you went, the crazier it got. Dari was in the middle between normal and bad.

Ummm. Well. How long? Um. It depends really. Sometimes its shorter than others. I'm not good at coloring. Really. I tend to base, and than loose my steam. I love to line more.
