Wings intrigue me for some reason... I'm fascinated by them.I thought this would be apropriate for my first submission...
I sketched this with my old Wacom and Painter Classic a couple of years back. It was the first piece that I created entirely by sketching on my wacom from scratch.
I hadn't sketched in so long that I thought I had "lost my touch".
This helped boost my ego and restore some well-needed confidence.

This piece is very dear to me and I do not wish others to use it in their works. There are a number of deviants who provide wings stock. I'm sure you can find a legitimate suitable equivalent for use in your own works. If I am notified that this piece is used in someone else's work, I will ask that it be removed.

1. I do not have a high resolution version of this (it's a very old sketch).
2. I don't mind if you get this as a tattoo - BUT!!
3. This sketch is of the UNDERSIDE of a set of wings. If you get this as a tattoo, it may look strange because they will be upside down.

Love the outspread of wings and the depth perception of details and shading. The dark color helps to cast more realization your wings. GREAT

wow this is realy good you have alot of talent hey i am holding a contest right now and i would realy like it if u where to enter it is a contest to see who will get there submetion on the cover of a book i am righting there is no real set time it is due i am still in the prosess of wrighting it so it will be a while but i still need to start planing this stuff and i figured y not let some 1 get a chance to get three art shown to the world so if u are interested hear is the [link]

Any chance I could use this in making a banner for a forum im on? :/ iv been trying to find a great "sketchy" pair of wings for a while, and this is it.
I plan on adding the words "Feeding Thread" on one side above the wing and "Showcase" on the otherside. Its for a game I play, and will be in my forum signature. I MIGHT even put a heart in between them.
I would include credit both in the signature and on the showcase/feedthread itself.
Its ok if you say no since its your art, but these would be really nice ^^

No. These aren't stock and I prefer they not be used in that manner. Especially not for things like logos, banners, or t-shirts. But thank you for the complements. If you look around, you should be able to find stock sketches, or stock images that can be turned into sketches.

Ok..I looked around some, and I found a pair that will work if I mess with them in photoshop for a bit. I hadnt thought of that. Thanks anyway and they really are beautiful. ^^

Sorry - I don't recall if I ever commented on this. Apparently I'm REALLY backlogged on replies...
I've seen a lot of comments about getting them as a tattoo. I think they'd make a gorgeous tattoo - but they might look odd because they're the underside of the wings - not the "above view" sketch.
If you do/did ever get them as a tattoo, I'd love to see a photo.

After sketching them I had decided that I wanted them as a tattoo for myself. Then I realized that my sketch is the underside of the wings which would just make a tattoo look weird... They'd be upside down.
