Description The white piece of paper was lonely.
There was no one to play,
So he laid there feeling sorry for himself
And moped around all day

Many days like this passed
And it made him sad.
No one ever came to play with him
And that made him mad.

Until one day the blue rubber
Ball was rolling along
With a bounce in her step
And on her lips a song
She rolled over the paper
Right on his head
“Hey!” he cried
“Watch where you tread!”

“I’m sorry,” the blue ball apologized,
“But it’s a nice day and I was rushing outside.
Come play with me!  I know some fun games!”
The paper then smiled and they exchanged names.

“What should we play first?” the blue ball asked.
“How about we race?  I’m a blur on the track!”
“I’m too wobbly,” the paper said.  “That game is not good.”
He tried to stand up and flailed where he stood.

We can see who has the biggest bounce!” said the ball with a flounce.
“That won’t work either.  I’m flimsy and weigh only an ounce.”

“Then what shall we do?!” the blue ball cried.
“Do you want to play or even be outside?!”

“I do want to play.  That much is true.
But I don’t wanna do what you wanna do.”

“So what do you wanna do?
What do you suggest?”
The blue ball asked,
Putting the paper to the test

The paper sat for a moment and thought.
“Here’s what I’ve got.
Let’s soak up some rays.
It feels so good on these hot lazy days.”

“We don’t have much in common.
That doesn’t sound fun.
This won’t work out but
I’ll think of you on my run.”
The blue ball nodded goodbye
And rolled away as blue as the sky.

The paper was happy.
He felt quite content.
Now he knew what
“good peace and quiet” meant.

Fin.

I've noticed the repetition of the word "Fin" to end your literary works. Any particular reason why?
