How did you manage to get photographed inside the capital building? Curious~

We called and set up an appointment! The yare really nice there. It important to be respectful of the people there while shooting, but yeah. The capital building people are fairly friendly!

This one was done by cutting each piece out anf searing the edges with a heat knife. Cut work like this, you usually want to do ebroidered edges, but I knew that would weight down the dress and I needed it to move!

Wow so is it sort of like melting the end of a ribbon to keep it from fraying?
