It obvious that you copied oceannah because you did the same pose and tried to copy the light but you failed. If I were you I would take this down because you copied her idea, and no its not inspiration it's flat out copying.

No, I was inspired and if you look closer, it is not the same pose and not even the same quote. People can get inspired, just don't attack them if it looks similar.

okay I know this was a while ago but... I wanted to confront this issue because I didn't see this until now. I have a few things to say...
1) thanks to you both for defending me, but if I wanted to say something I would have.
2) just because I commented "ouo" does not mean I like your drawing.
3) this piece was not inspired by the art by syd that you linked. I thought of this myself (though some artists have probably drawn something like this before I did).
4) people can get inspired, but if you draw something so similar to the original art, you have to expect comments like this. don't be sour about it.
5) addressing the "what elseย do you expect someone to do while they're in space?" comment -- you could have done this in a different setting. again, you have to expect comments like this.
6) addressing the "she probably took it as flattery" comment -- I am flattered that you were inspired by my art, Elsa. but please, both of you, don't assume the things that I think. thanks!

It looks like a copy of the pose but worse and you didn't need to put it in the same format the text could have been somewhere else. Yes it is a different quote but it still doesn't change the fact that you did copy her idea. How old are you? 9? Get your own ideas.
