Description It isn’t easy, growing up with younger sisters who are so much stronger than you are. But it wasn’t just me, but the whole town that suffered, when my twin sisters transformed into super strong she hulks, capable of lifting heavier weights than anyone had ever thought possible.

Guusje and Lieke were born when I was three years old. From day one, they were cute as a button. In the years that followed, they always wanted to be together. But at the same time, they seemed to be arguing constantly. If Guusje had something in her hand, Lieke wanted it too. If Lieke was talking to someone, Guusje interrupted her. So no one was really surprised when they turned into two very competitive little girls.

They participated in lots of sports: swimming, field hockey, athletics, gymnastics, judo, soccer, boxing, speed skating, horse riding. They both strived to excel in each and every sport.

When they were nine, they were super fanatic, doing everything to win, while the other girls in their team were playing mostly for fun. So other parents kept complaining, and our parents decided not to have Lieke and Guusje participate in team sports anymore. My sisters didn’t bother, they just strived to get the maximum results out of themselves.

This resulted in them having very athletic bodies at a young age. I never realized just how athletic they had become, until that day when I was fourteen. I came home from school when I heard my sisters in the living room, arguing. As usual. I sighed, and was about to go upstairs to my room to do my homework, when they yelled: “Matthijs! Come here!”

So I turned around and stepped into the room. My sisters were standing in front of each other, their heads red, their sleeves rolled up. “Matthijs!” Lieke said. “You’re the judge.”

“Okay?” I said.

“Yes,” Guusje said. “We are having this argument…”

I rolled my eyes, because they always seemed to have arguments, about the silliest things.

“Stop that!” Lieke said. “We are serious.”

“What is it this time? Do I have to say who has drawn the most beautiful unicorn? Again?”

They both stared at me. “We don’t draw unicorns anymore. We are eleven now,” Lieke said.

“No. We want you to tell who has the biggest biceps.”

“Excuse me?”

“Sorry, I thought you were our very smart brother, who has skipped grades twice. But it seems that an alien has taken your shape.” Guusje started talking slower. “What part of the question did you not understand, alien? Who – has – the – biggest – biceps?”

“Yes, I understood you, you little troll. But what kind of question is that?”

My sisters didn’t reply. They just looked at each other for a second, and then they flexed their upper arms.

“Holy f…!” Of course I knew they were athletic. Much more than I am (which isn’t difficult, by the way. Sports have always seemed a waste of time to me). They had very gradually grown bigger and stronger, so I hadn’t realized what was happening. But now they were flexing for me, I understood.

Their upper arms showed a serious arc, and I gulped as I estimated that their arms were probably bigger around than mine.

I kept staring, until Lieke impatiently asked: “Well? Who’s bigger?” Their arms started shaking as they kept their flex.

“I… I don’t know,” I stammered. I realized my head was turning red. “You’re probably equally big.”

They didn’t look satisfied with my answer. They always wanted to win, to be the best, to be the biggest. Guusje squinted their eyes. “But I bet I’m stronger than you are, big brother!”

“What?! No way!” After all, I was three years older, thirty centimeters taller, and probably twenty kilograms heavier. They couldn’t be stronger, couldn’t they?

“Let’s arm wrestle!” Guusje sat down, and planted her elbow down on the table, her small hand open. “Come on!”

I hesitated for a moment, then I sat down at the other side. I gripped her hand and squeezed. Hard. I grinned a bit when her eyes widened. This was going to be fun! But then I could feel my little sister started to squeeze as well, and her grip was remarkably strong for such a young girl.

Lieke, unaware of what we were doing, said: “Are you ready? One, two, three… Go!”

I had thought this would be easy for me, but I immediately knew it wouldn’t. Guusje’s arm tensed and I could see her forearm and upper arm grow. Defined muscles popped up beneath her skin, as she exerted more strength than I had anticipated. I had to use all my strength to prevent my little sister from pushing my hand down.

Lieke turned her head, examining my upper arm and Guusje’s. “Oh my… Your arm is bigger, sis! Come on, push him down! Show our weak brother who is the strongest!”

But I had the benefit of my extra weight, and I used my whole body to overpower her. Slowly, her arm moved downward. She poured in all her strength but finally, she had to give up. When I pushed her hand down, she put her head on the table, panting heavily.

I stood up. “Yes! I am the strongest!”

“Duh,” Lieke said. “You’re three years older than we are, and you had to use all your strength.”

“Blah blah. You are just a whining little baby.”

Lieke gave me an angry look. “Oh yeah? Okay, then it’s my turn!”

“That’s not fair!” I protested. “I am still tired!”

She shrugged. “So? You can use your other hand.”

We quarreled a bit more, but finally, I sat down again and Lieke took Guusje’s place. I gripped her with my other hand, and Guusje counted. Immediately, Lieke gave all she got. She pushed my arm halfway down, taking me by surprise. I had to struggle hard to get my arm upright again. But I was still a bit tired from the first fight, so I couldn’t push Lieke’s arm down. She noticed, and smiled at me. She rubbed her upper arm with her free hand. “Oh, my biceps is rock hard! I have trained years to become so strong. I am sure I’m going to beat you. Your arm is soft as pudding. You are just a weak nerd who has never exercised!”

I was almost out of strength. I gave it one last try, but Lieke countered me with ease. And then, she slowly pushed my hand down, until it touched the table.

She stood up and danced around the table. “Yes! I beat you, and you beat Guusje, so that means that I am stronger than any one of you!”

Guusje protested, but Lieke pretended not to hear her. After some minutes, they calmed down.

“That was fun,” Guusje said. “I loved to use my strength, and experience that I am just about as strong as you, even though you are much bigger!”

“So did I,” Lieke added. “I would love to become even stronger.”

“Yes! But how can we do that?”

“Duh,” I said. “That’s elementary, dear baby sisters. You have to do something with weights, like fitness, or weight lifting. Dad’s going to a gym around the corner.”

So that afternoon, when our parents came home, they asked them if they could go to the gym. Mum and dad agreed, but only if they gave up some other sports. So they quit horse riding, speed skating, athletics and judo.

“Wow,” I thought. “They had been really passionate about horses and skating in the past years. They must be really determined about growing stronger, if they are willing to give up their horses and skates!”

That became clear in the year that followed. I had become used to them being home when I arrived from school, but now I often entered an empty house. As they were still in primary school, they hardly had any homework, so they spent many hours in the gym. I sometimes heard them talk in their room, next to mine, about the weights they had been lifting. It seemed as if they were bragging that the one had lifted more than the other, and they shouted numbers at each other.

But those numbers didn’t mean anything to me, and I didn’t pay much attention to them, because I had to study. I wanted to finish school with the highest grades, even though I was two years younger than my classmates.

So that’s what I did most of the times then: study in my room. I didn’t have friends, because my classmates said I was a baby boy, and the boys my age seemed so young, talking about things I didn’t care about.

I was a little nervous when the twins also went to my secondary school. But after some days, nothing had happened, so I relaxed a bit.

But then, one day, during the afternoon break, I walked through the hallway, maneuvering through the crowd. A leg got stuck between mine and I tripped. When I hit the ground, I could hear some boys laughing. I groaned. I had hoped they had forgotten about me after the holidays, but apparently they hadn’t.

“Hey baby boy, did you forget how to walk?” one of the boys asked. I looked up and saw a leg kick my backpack. All my books spilled out. “I guess baby boy still wets his bed at night.” I could hear them laughing out loud.

“Hey!” a high voice yelled. I could feel strong arms help me back to my feet. I looked around. On one side was the group of five boys that had been after me for several years. On the other side were my twin sisters, dressed in identical shirts. Looking cute, with their glasses and pony tails. But they weren’t in a good mood. “What are you doing with our brother?” Guusje demanded.

“Five of you against someone who is two years younger. You must be the bravest boys in this school!” Lieke scorned.

The boys grinned a bit, not sure what to say.

“So why don’t you try to pick on us?”

The boys looked at them with open mouths for a moment. Then, they burst out laughing. But they stopped as the twins slowly raised their arms. My mouth fell open as well. I hadn’t been paying much attention to them lately, but man… They had grown big! Their biceps were now real balls of girl muscle. I was completely sure I would never be able to beat them in arm wrestling anymore. Their arms had become so much bigger than mine!

Meanwhile, the boys had recovered a bit. “Look, baby boy has brought his baby sisters. And they have been eating spinach to be able to defend him!” Some other laughed a bit, others were not sure what to do. They had also noticed that the two young girls looked exceptionally powerful.

Guusje took a step forward, made a fist, and hit the boy who had been talking in the stomach. Hard. He doubled over, and fell to the ground, holding his guts.

Guusje raised her fists into some kind of boxing pose and gave them a menacing look. “Is there anybody else who would like to feel my baby fists?” The four remaining boys backed up, and she grinned.

In the meantime, Lieke had picked up my books and put them back in my backpack. “Come on, let’s go.”

“Fuck, I didn’t know you had become so strong and muscular,” I stammered.

Lieke shrugged. “We have only just started. And you should be happy. If those boys bully you again, just tell us and we’ll go after them.”

“Be careful, okay? I don’t think they will leave you alone.”

Guusje laughed. “I’d like to see them try. There’s just five of them. And we have big muscles and boxing skills, remember?”

We laughed. But later that day, it appeared I had been right. After school, the five had been waiting for them. My sisters came home, arguing who had taken down the most boys, and how. I rushed down the stairs, because I expected them to be heavily wounded. But they just had some small bruises, and Lieke’s glasses were broken.

There was a lot more damage at the opposite side. A couple of teeth, lips, black eyes, numerous bruises, a broken wrist, several bruised ribs, one concussion. Three boys didn’t show up the next day, the other two could hardly walk.

It appeared they had secretly bullied many more children, so no one pitied them, and my sisters became instant school heroes. Other girls started to dress like them, and there was always a group around them, asking them about their exercises in the gym, and about boxing moves.

Part of their fame also trickled down on me. I was no longer sitting alone during the breaks. Some other boys joined me, and they always wanted to talk about Lieke and Guusje. My “super sisters”, they called them.

The boys were always very happy when the twins joined us, and showed off their strength. Sometimes they had the five or six of us sit on a table, and they would lift it off the ground together. The boys loved that, but it always made me feel a bit embarrassed.

Sometimes Lieke and Guusje would just flex their biceps, which seemed to grow bigger every day. They always asked the boys who of them two had bigger muscles, but it was very hard to tell. Most of the boys had trouble telling them apart in the first place.

There wasn’t any trouble with other students anymore. Well, at least there was no violence or bullying. But there were other troubles. Parents complained that their sons and daughters were distracted by the way my sisters dressed.

They loved to show off their physiques, so they wore clothes that just covered what was necessary: crop tops, shorts, sneakers. Summer or winter, that didn’t matter. But they didn’t violate any school rules, so they kept on showing their thick arms and legs, and their six packs.

I hardly noticed anymore, because that was how they dressed at home, so I had grown used to it. Every now and then, I took some time to realize how exceptional they truly were. It helped that they had started a social media channel, on which they posted pictures of their development. Sometimes they posed with their classmates, who looked tiny next to their muscular bodies. And sometimes they lifted others, showing off their strength.

They lifted me as well, but they only did that at home, as they didn’t want to embarrass me in public. As they grew stronger, it became easier and easier for them. When they were thirteen, they could just grab me by my belt with one hand and lift me clear off the ground. Sometimes they carried me up the stairs this way, as some kind of exercise. I always protested, but there was nothing I could do to stop them; they had become way stronger than me.

And they knew it. They took every opportunity to let me know how weak I was compared to them. Fortunately for me, they were arguing even more about who was the strongest, the most muscular of them two.

One day, they were yelling and screaming against each other and I was going downstairs to ask them to calm down, as I was studying for my final exams. But Guusje just looked at me, wrapped her thick arm around my waist and lifted me clear off the ground. “Come on,” she said to Lieke, and walked out of the door.

I was kicking and screaming and clawing at her arm, trying to break free, but I suppose she hardly noticed, because she calmly walked into the direction of the gym. Lieke caught up, and they were talking to each other as if I wasn’t there.

When we entered the gym, I noticed that all heads were turning. Probably because I was being carried inside, but I also saw that people left their weights and machines and followed the twins.

They stopped in the weights section and Guusje put me back down on my feet. I started saying that if I wouldn’t pass my exams it would be their fault, but they ignored me. Guusje looked at Lieke and said: “So you think you are stronger than I am? Show me how much you can bench and I’ll bench 5 kilos more!”

Lieke looked her in the eye for a moment and then said: “Okay.” She walked over to a bench and started loading weights on a bar.

I looked around and noticed that a crowd had gathered around us. Some people gasped as they were watching Lieke, who was carrying metal disks that looked very heavy to me. She lifted those like they weighed almost nothing, but I noticed how her muscles were bulging.

When she was finished, she laid down on the bench and gripped the bar. “Is she going to lift that?” I whispered.

“Yeah, they are incredible, aren’t they?” a guy next to me said. “When I first saw them here, I couldn’t believe the amount of iron they were pumping. And you know what? I still can’t! It is as if they can lift a kilo more each and every day!” He shook his head, and then looked at me. “Have I seen you before?”

“I’m their brother,” I said, and I nodded into the direction of the twins.

“No kidding? Wow, I wouldn’t have guessed. You look… well…”

I grinned. “I know. They have the beauty and the bodies, I have the brains.”

We laughed, until the cheers from the crowd made clear that something was happening. Lieke was now straining to lift the enormous weight. Her arms had grown bigger than ever before, and thick drops of sweat were running down her head. Her arms were shaking, but with a loud grunt, she managed to straighten her arms. She kept the weight in the air for several seconds, and then a couple of men rushed forward to help her put it down.

Lieke stood up and roared, while she flexed her biceps. I was shocked. They were enormous, probably bigger than my thighs! I saw that several men in the crowd looked at their own upper arms in despair, knowing they were easily outmuscled by my young sister.

But Guusje wasn’t impressed. She stepped forward and shoved her sister to the side. Guusje rearranged the disks. I guessed she was adding five kilos to the already ridiculous weight.

Two minutes later, she benched that weight and the whole gym cheered her on. Lieke just gritted her teeth, and copied Guusje’s performance.

After that, they were both exhausted, so they weren’t able to lift a heavier weight. This made them both angry, because they still didn’t know who was the strongest.

They remained in the gym, while I headed for the exit. I had forgotten about my exams for some minutes, but then I realized what I should have been doing. But while I was reading my books, I couldn’t forget the image of my sisters lifting that huge weight, their muscles growing bigger and bigger.

I still managed to pass my exams and a couple of months later, I found a room in the city where I was going to study. Several days before the introduction week started, my whole family helped me move my stuff.

When we arrived at the student house, Guusje got out first and carried two boxes to my new house. When she was at the door, it opened and a student came out. He looked like a sports type, with broad shoulders and thick arms.

“A small girl like you shouldn’t carry that,” he said. “Let me take it from you!”

So Guusje put the boxes in his arms. The boxes were much heavier than he had expected, and he almost dropped them. “Geez… What’s inside of these?” He grunted and managed to stand up straight again. With some effort, he turned around and carried the boxes inside. I had the impression that my little sister had carried the boxes with less effort.

She giggled as she returned to the car to get out some other stuff. “What do you think he would have done if I had picked him up, while he was carrying those boxes?” she asked Lieke. Lieke just snorted.

Guusje rolled up her sleeves to expose her huge upper arms. The guy came back out and stared at her. Lieke stepped in between them and flexed her biceps. “Maybe you think that my little sister is big, but I am even bigger!” she boasted.

“You’re not!” Guusje yelled.

I rolled my eyes as they once more loudly discussed who was the strongest. Quickly, students gathered to look what the noise was all about, and were amazed to see my super muscular sisters. I had seen it so many times before, so I picked up a box and carried it inside.

The muscular guy came after me. “Are those two your sisters?”

I sighed. “Yes. Can’t wait to leave home and finally get some rest!”

He smiled. “I can imagine. But at least they are good at carrying your stuff!”

“Well, yes, if they are not arguing. Which they seem to do for about 80% of the time.”

He laughed. “I surely hope they will visit you every now and then.”

Even before college had started, my sisters had become famous on campus, even though they had been there only once, for just two hours. Everyone I talked to seemed to follow them on their social media channel, and could tell me about their incredible feats of strengths and new weight lifting records.

Nobody knew at that time that all this had been only child’s play. The real heavy lifting had yet to start…

Ah no, sorry. I have no idea. Sometimes, if I get in a flow, I write a story very quickly. Sometimes it takes years to finish. And I really want to finish the complete story before part 2 is published.

Good question. In the past months, I have been writing a lot on this story. It has gone from 3,500 words to over 30,000 and it still isn't finished. And I want to have it completely finished before I start publishing new parts. So please be patient!

I am sure it will continue someday. The only thing is: the story is branching out, with more characters, more events and more complications (and of course, more muscle ). I have to try to tie all the branches together to end the story, but at the moment, I don't see how. I may even have to go back to this published first part and change it a bit to be compatible with the events in other parts.

I am not sure about those changes, but they might be necessary, although the changes wouldn't be very big. There is some foreshadowing, which could be formulated a bit different. And I'm not satisfied about the title. The story is about two developing young muscle girls, not just about heavy lifting.

I'm not sure about the effect of a title change. The link from Google will be broken for some time, I guess. And I don't know about DA, but I can imagine that title changes aren't rewarded. I'll think about it.

And no, still not on Discord!
