CAST YOU VOTES HERE I'm rather curious to see how people feel of the changes I've made to his attire design. The poll results will give me an idea of what people think of the other designs now that Ashworth is given the chance to wear some pants/tights. XD
Zepher is now a separate entity, he's like a free spirit that can jump from object to object and become unison with that object (e.g. Ashworth's scarf). Whatever he touches will turn navy blue - just for your information. ^^

I prefer number 3 but I suggest that you mix 3 with 1. I mean change the color of clothes and turn it navy and keep Zepher as Ashworth's scarf. yet that doesn't mean he won't jump around to conquer the world by his "navy" touch!

You should give him all three choices.
Ash can have his choice of attire
depending on his environment.
If it's a nice sunny day, then number 1 or
3 would work. 3 would be nice in a burning
dessert. The long cape can keep the sun
off him.
2 would be good if its a wet suit where he needs to go underwater
to find treasure. If it's winter, the suit can act as a snow covering
to keep him warm.
Number one can be for movement if he's in an environment where
the other outfits can't be worn.
eg. no clothes in the waterpark or hot springs resort
Otherwise, I think 3 is my favorite.

Out of the three designs, I would prefer Design 3. In Design 3, there is a balance in color and the length of the wardrobe and the skin: such as the pants that has rip effects that reveal parts of Ashworth's skin and the rips also can naturally convey bravery and battle & the colors (e.g. whites, greys, & browns) of his wardrobe are neutral enough to contrast and balance with the yellow skin without becoming overwhelmed.
While as for Design 2, the black suit on Ashworth does not work for me because my focus becomes too distracted towards the black suit since it works as one unified shape and color, & the suit along with no boots and gloves being present makes me think of a sporting event and not a heroic sense.
For the prototype in Design 1, there are some balances in the amounts of yellow and blue, yet there's something missing for the groin area that has an emptiness of yellow.
On how you described Zepher clarifies on some of his origins as a free spirit and also clarifies on his distinguishing characteristics of his possessing abilities.
& PS, even though it may not affect certain regions, Daylight Savings is right around the corner in less than a week on Sunday March 11.

Okay, this is REALLY hard to pick which design the best look for Ashworth! Warning: my grammar sucks. XD
Design #3 look nice, but he looks as if he lives in a small town surrounded by desert. But Zepher's new look doesn't suit him as you write in the description.
D,X I'm sorry if I sound cruel; design #2 doesn't appeal to me. For him just wearing tight and rip-scarf, doesn't really show anything special.
Design #1 is the best design for him. Zepher, turning into the scarf, shows his ability; Ashworth showing his muscles & chest hair (his chest hair ) with simple clothing still makes him look awesome. Beside, if you make him wear a shirt, an he hardly shows his chest hair, then you have to redesign the chest-logo, right??? dun Dun DUUUUNNN
If anyone still wants him to wear pant, then he can wear the tight pant from design #2 or pant (without the rips) from design #3 is alright! =3

Although the third design is a good choice with the need of the scarf, the decision for Ashworth to wear pants or not will be a hard one, due to the fact that their is mixed responses in the polls: Ashworth's redesign

Cos 1 and 2 seems to be missing something, like you still have to add something that will make it just right.

U can mix the no.1 and no.3 together
The pants of no.3 and the scarf of no.1
Or just let him be like no.1,he looks kind of good without pants
I mean both Sonic and Shadow are naked and they still look good

He's nice but In my opinion, I think I would fix him a kind of combination between the one and two, I liked how he looks with only gloves and boots, though I think the brown cape suits him better, and I like seeing Zepher floating around him (: It's just my humble opinion, I really like your character, the fact of him being a wombat and not a other official specie is very original.

I like design #3
Because for #1, it's been already done, very good of him but for me it's like an old design to me and #2, Too tight for him mate, he needs to be free-aired, like what all men need

I like the third design better becuase they look like pants lol. the second one with the bodysuit I don't see him in it plus it looks to be too much like a ninja.

I like him with the pants, so #3. (I also like the scarf with Zepher in #1.)
I do not like #2 for sure. Maybe if he had boots with it, or if the outfit covered everything down to and including his feet, I would. The bare arms are fine in that case.

Personally, I like Design 3 the best, But, I also like the blue stuff from the other designs., but over all, 3 is the coolest.

It's simple.
If you design Ashworth with a quite realistic anatomy, it's better with pants, otherwise he will look nude! 
If Ashworth was nearer to Sonic style, then he would be ok only in boots, as always.
So, I think the third design is even sexy! XD Please, don't choose the "diver suit" design!

I'd go with #3 and make some [optional] tweaks; #2 robs him of his physique and it looks like he's in a wetsuit-only scenario.
Dark-colored clothes seem to suit him better, but have you considered how he'd look with knee-high shorts and wrist-length gloves, like Zell Dincht from FFVIII?
Also, I think the cape is a good addition if he's going to be on the road, in the sense that it fits his 'nomad' attire.
The boots should remain as they are in #3.
Zepher's 'free-floating' mode is a rather good feature, in that it grants more 'choice' if he were in a battle or in exploration mode.
That the object changes color is a welcome plus!
I hope the final design is the best it can be!!
