yeah, this tutorial could be pretty useful. I'll fave this just in case. I pretty much like the painted look in the final image.

NICE to see how you work. I always first colour, then add the grey shading to the picture, maybe I would get better results if I actually tried it your way for once.

What's "Desaturate"? And lol your way of coloring is a bit like mine xD (it actually changes at the "Desaturate" phase XD )

So do you use photoshop for the coloring? If so, where exactly do you find the "desaturate" tool, and what advantages does doing so bring?

Very Very well done almost perfect!! A little critique here but Shadow's appearance seemed to pop by itself rather than with the flow. He's very well done, but there is something about Shadow that doesn't fit the picture.
Just my point of view.

I see you've already answered the greyscale question. Ah, how often that's eluded me. Thank you!

How did you do the grayscale? I'm a beginner in photoshop

Hi there Technofaerie17, that's a good start to asking questions about how to colour in the drawing.
To grayscale make sure you have your 'lineart' layer on it's own (make a duplicate in case you need it later).
Highlight that layer and go the the options on the top bar (Adjustments). Go to Add an Adjustment Layer. Tick the box
that tells you to link the layer with previous.
From there the magic begins. All you need is a black and white brush set to the opacity of your choice. I learnt this technique from a comic artist that I admire: [link]
Hope that helps and keep practicing!
