Description For November this month, I'm going to be doing the prompts on this  list. Each one represents a hypothetical dinosaur that might have existed, but for which we don't have any fossils.

Krakowavis inexpectatus, native to what is now Poland, is the largest known Mesozoic bird-- though, as always, exactly how one defines a "bird" is rather debatable. It was a basal paravian, closely related to Romania's Balaur, and likely descended from the same flying ancestor. However, Krakowavis is a much larger animal, growing up to eight feet tall and weighing as much as an ostrich. While there are no large theropods in its habitat, most of Europe consisting as it does of a chain of islands at this time, there are still other predators such as azhdarchid pterosaurs and crocodiles. Luckily, Krakowavis is well-equipped for self-defense. The claws on both its wings and its feet are razor-sharp, and can inflict lethal wounds on an attacker if it is forced to defend itself. However, Krakowavis is an herbivore, and uses its long neck to browse from the branches of trees.
