Ha! I did get it finished in time for Otakon!

Forty hours and ~$150 went into this costume.

My friend Becca bought Sportaplushie for me as a gift.

This costume was made under the careful watch and instruction of my mother, bless her, who is still teaching me how to sew. This is not pieced, because I am lazy. The darker stripes were just fused onto the light pink dress.
I'm obnoxiously proud of that there headband, because I did a lot of handsewing on it. And I had to re-do the rhinestones four times.

I could go on a rant about what needs to be fixed, but by then my fingers and me would be tired of typing.

...about thirty old guys took my picture. I'm scared to think that I might pop up on the internets without my doing.
