"So... bored..." Gale lay on his stomach, watching bugs crawl on the forest ground. His home was right near, so he wouldn't have to

worry. With the plague and this new tail he woke up with, things have been stressful. He'd always grab things accidentally with his clawed

tail. It kind of frightened him... Everyone was so stressed, including Gale. Perhaps picking flowers will help. He reached and grabbed a

flower, and soon many more. He formed a little crown and placed it on his head, smiling. After he had been beat up, Gale had stayed inside

from fear of going out. His mother wasn't happy at all about that event. However... he had to admit that it was nice out today, compared to

recently. Suddenly, Gale heard shuffling. Was it the bully again? He panicked, sitting up quickly. "W-whos there?" A spite maybe? He was

prepared to run when he heard whimpering. Peering into the bushes slowly, Gale saw an orange figure. "Kwah!" A Runeboo! He fell back, a

bit shocked. They seemed so scared..."I-it's okay... " Gale said quietly, barely a whisper. The Runeboo stopped hiding its face and stood up

straight, cautious. Gale grabbed some flowers and held them out, smiling warmly. "I'm nice." The Runeboo blinked, tilting its head. "Do you

like flowers?" The Runeboo seemed to be calm now. "You probably can't understand me..." Gale sat down, and the Runeboo came close,

evaluating him. "It's been chaotic recently, seeing such an adorable boo like you brightens things up though." He reached out to pet it. It

flinched, backing away. "I'm sorry..." He frowned, lowering his ears. The runeboo sat beside Gale. "I don't know what to call you. How

about Evelyn..?" The Runeboo seemed confused. "Evelyn?" It blinked, and seemed to lighten up. "You're so cute!" Gale smiled, lightly

touching the Runeboo on the head. It seemed warmed up to him now, calm and gentle. "Good girl... or, I'm assuming anyway." Gale

couldn't stop smiling. This... was a friend! Gale didn't have many friends, so this was exciting. Plus, it's a Runeboo. He stood up and began

walking. Turning back to the boo, Gale tilted his head and spoke softly. "Want to come with me?" The boo didn't hesitate. It walked

alongside him happily, still a little shyish, but warm around him. "I'm Gale. I can be your owner! I'm so excited. Sorry if I'm a bit loud..."
