Taken a while back. While at the park, this stray dog stalked and watched me from away but was too afraid to come near me. Anytime I approached him, he exhibited signs of aggression so I didn't press my luck. I thought he was pretty though.Related content

If you know of stray animals or just animals in need of a home please post a picture on my rescue's FB page. You can post one picture every day per animal (up to five each day, any more will be deleted for flooding, please and thank you for understanding). Make sure you mention the state you live in (I recommend putting that first so FLORIDA - info, and other countries are perfectly fine too!!). Also include contact info and keep in mind that on FB if you aren't friends with the person the message goes to an "other" folder and you are NOT alerted on FB that you got it. You'll have to check your messages daily by clicking on the message tab on the top right of any FB page, then way it comes down you'll see on the top left of that the words inbox and other. I didn't approach him, he approached me and I just stepped toward him to gauge his reaction since he was stalking me. I stayed at least 15 feet from him at all times. I know my way around dogs.

I've gotten bit once or twice but I'm rather adept at reading the body language which is why I would not get close to this guy and I had my mace handy just in case.

neighbor had a big ol' sheepdog that was not nice to say the least and tore a neighborhood kid up really bad.it took 4 of us to pull him out of the dogs area.kid got over 100 stitches in his arm,nasty!!!

Really nice photograph, I love his coat color in contrast to the fall background. Poor old thing makes me feel bad for buying a purbred when there are so many homeless dogs. But we can't help what we want
