Coloured pencils and crayons on Schoeller paper, November 2006.This was my entry for an art contest about Love, and I named it "Η Ομορφιά της Αγάπης", which is "The Beauty of Love" in Greek.

I think I like the bumpy ground the best, it's really unique. And the light reflecting off said ground is amazing, also! You work the colour best in those areas, as well as the roots of the trees--nature can be so hard to interpret sometimes, you do a great job.
If I had to complain about something, I would say it was the skirt on her dress. It's a bit wooden, and stiff...I think it should be a little more flowy to illustrate the Greek aspect of the image.
Otherwise this is lovely! Just lovely!
