Wow, how long has it been since I posted anything remotely related to Devil May Cry? 0_o Gah, I don't even wanna know!!!
Anyway... This is something that was bugging my mind for a little while, begging to be done. Its a scene from my DMC fanfic... which I have pulled back in order to re-write... =__= yeah I know, I'm sad. Its a part of the 1st 'volume' of the story, when Dante and my oc, Tess, are both teenagers.
And, like all teenagers, they get into a truckload of trouble... but when you're a helf-demon fledgeling and a budding witch... you ought to expect a little worse than detention and arrests for driving without a licence...
...like demons pouring all over the place and hell-bent (no pun intended) on killing you.
^^ So yeah, this completely FUGLY thing you see about to devour Tess, is one of them pesky demons. It hasn't got a name typically, so I refer to it as Insanity Embodied, and that's pretty much what it is. Its a lot of madness piled up, and filled to the brim with demoic power... Yeah, that can't be a good mixer!
And, as is with every self-respecting monster, it finds witch girls tastier than half-demon boys, and so its trying to gobble Tess up. And being the very same 'hero' that he always is, Dante is trying to get his friend out of there...while trying not to get eaten himself.
^_^ Don't worry, they'll make it. They're both too tough cookies to let a demon eat them. They'd give it indigestion anyway...
And NO ITS NOT ABOUT TO VIOLATE THEM. Its trying to eat them, not rape them, so shaddawp you perverts!!

The way the light is bouncing off tess is well done, however dante seems a little bit darker.
Overall however I still get the image that dante is trying to save tess from the shadows, the imagery is quite well done.
