Description Not much to say here: It was a wonderful sunset and I felt like illustrating this with the only things available there: Beautiful, round stones.
(I *do* know that this picture is a bit cliched.)

And, yes, it took me a looong time to get these round stones to stay on top of each other...

(I apologize for having to sacrifize some of the brilliance to the embedding of an "invisible" watermark.)

it's so beautiful and peaceful. very zen! the blues make it feel crisp and refreshing and the oranges make it feel warm and inviting. Nice work.

Hmm, looks very good. Great that there's only focus on the stones. Though it does look like the upper one isn't really in focus..

But besides from that, it looks great ^_^

Now, that I re-think the situation, I probably should have focussed on the front of the stones rather than on the point where they touched.

nice pic, i think the upper rock is not focused, or it's just her texture?

You are right: The upper rock was slightly more in front than the middle one and I wanted the depth of field to concentrate on the places where the stones meet.
