Description
Our local anime store is holding a contest in which people draw a character that will become the mascot of their store. We were allowed to submit as many as 4 characters...I only had time for 2...barely enough time for that even. Bleh. I almost didn't complete this one due to lack of time but I worked my tail off to do it.Click [link] to see the other character for this contest.
Anywho, this is the 2nd character I did and originally, this was going to be a tiger! I drew the eyes, nose, mouth and then got to the ears and was doing them when I think to myself, 'Heck, this looks like a fox...durn-tootin' why not do a fox?!' So, I finished it as a fox rather then a tiger and I like it better then what I originally had planned...especially because I love foxes...we have a lot of red and gray foxes where I live and they're ever-so cute.
I WON THE MASCOT CONTEST!!! MY OTHER DRAWING OF THE MONKEY IS THE ONE THAT WON! He'll be seen on their t-shirts, posters, and other ads.^_^

Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental
hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the
staff in the hospital so the More-government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so
they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the
machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died.

This is so adorable! xD The colors look so sharp; all that red really brings out the green in its eyes. I like how you did the expression too. I kinda like the fox idea better than the tiger.
There are a bunch of foxes where I live as well. I actually have a gray one that comes up to my house every evening. ^_^

I love the fox! It is my favorite of the two. For mascot-material, anyhoo. It doesn't help that foxes are my favorite animal. I want to be one. I will be for Gen Con! hehe Yay cosplay!

Out of the two you've posted, I would have toooo gooo wiiiith..... The..... Monkey. Not saying this one is bad or anything, just I like the other the best (^^) I love the brilliant red colors you gave him/her though :3
