Brotherly pic time!

I have this pic lineart stored in my comp for about a month but I couldn't find the right inspiration for the bg. I made many tries and suddenly the right idea come to me yesterday

I imagine a moment from Zéphir and Sherine childhood, after their parents' death they passed some times alone in a forest. He was 13 and she was 6.

'...Their parents were death, Zéphir had to realize it, but now the most important thing was to bring Sherine in a safe place. It was night by now and it was about to rain. They took refuge in a small cave and he manage to built a little fire, remembering how his dad used to do that. He was scared but his voice was calm and he was smiling while he was trying to cheer Sherine up. In that moment, in the silence of his mind, Zéphir made a promise, a promise to his dead parents, to Sherine and most of all to himself: he'll protect her and nobody will take her away from him. Nobody. From that moment, Zéphir's personality begin to change...'

Hope you enjoy my little writing, I have done my best o translating it (if you see some mistakes don't hesitate to tell me)This a little part of the my story, at the beginning it has to be a written story, when I don't even know what photoshop was, but know I like to do a comic. I have some ideas, they come and go from my mind but I haven't find a way to put all them together yet, it's kinda frustrating<.<, but who knows maybe someday...

I try my best on Zéphir and Sherine appearance: I wanted them to seem younger. For this I slightly change Zéphir hair-style.
On the bg I passed many hours, the cave walls and perspective give me a lot of trouble but I'm happy with the results. I also try my best on my first fire At the end of the cave you can see that outside it's raining
