I found an old drawing of mine, and I decided to finish it. I think it was supposed to be a metaphor for Alanna the Lioness from Tamora Pierce's books, waving her battle colors.I reffed the lioness from Ken Hultgren's book 'The Art of Animal Drawing'. Great book, I recommend it for every artist.
Please excuse the ominous red stains... Had a bit of an accident while working on this...

I love the lion and the shading. The anatomy is defiantly more realistic than most of your art.
It looks like it could use some touching up. While I like art that still has the sketched look, you have stray lines in the middle of the sky and a few fingerprints. Try cleaning your scanner before you scan something. It will get rid of the pencil residue from previous art and help make it look neater.
I also suggest that you don't spill ink on everything and make it look like a bloody mess.

I know. T.T It spilled on my bag too, but when I washed it it turned blue for some reason. I liked it better when it looked like blood.

The red stains kind of go with the pic...anyway, you shouldn't have worked on that while we were watching Les Miserables. Now the only thing I think is Lion King characters carrying flags of rebellion against
Scar and singing "ONE DAY MORE! ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER DESTINY..." and "DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING? SINGING THE SONG OF ANGRY MEN, IT IS THE MUSIC OF A PEOPLE WHO WILL NOT BE SLAVES AGAIN..." So, yeah...

XD No, it was calligraphy ink I was using for something else. It got splattered all over this drawing, the wall, the floor, my backpack and my hands, And it's IMPOSSIBLE to scrub off, so I went to school today looking like I'd murdered something.

There so need to be more ominous red stains LOL...
but some things are asking too much, red ink could work.. maybe treat it like falling flowers instead of a battle ground??
I just always see stuff, as is it's really nice, and accidents are understandable so no worries.
