InkTober-Drawing Nr. 5

I decided to enter the InkTober-Event this year again. Each day during October I'm gonna draw one inked picture. But maybe someday I'm not gonna do anything and post two pics on the following day. Depends on how much time I got on my hands.
This year I will go with the official 2019 promptlist by Jake Parker and draw pics of my OC Okorie as well as her friends. You can find the Promptlist here .

The fifth theme was "Build"

After the goddess appeared on the village's marketplace and offered gifts to some of the warriors, Okorie found herself to be the owner of a small creature. A feathered, four-legged animal with wings and green and pink feathers. It wasn't big enough to hunt for animals, it wasn't big enough to help killing huge monsters, it was more like a small companion. Able to fly and guide the warrior from above. Since she never cared for animals, Okorie was insecure on how to handle the situation but eventually found herself building something for it to climb onto. She took some wood from the forest back home and started building something so the creature had more to do than to lay around on her bed and fly up on her furniture.
She never was much of a craftsperson so it was hard for her to make the weird construction stand. Several times she cursed, threw stuff around and wanted to continue another time but she still did her best to finish it anyways.
When finally two plates sticked to the place she decided to put them, she just needed to get some more nails to fixate another plate on a piece of wood when suddenly there was something right in front of her. It was her pet. Sitting on the unfinished construction, looking at her as if there was no way it would move away anymore. "Oh come on. I'm still building this thing! Get down!", Okorie said as her pet just turned its head without blinking...
