I have been a fan of Skylanders ever since I saw one of their characters, Bash the earth dragon. I wasn't quite sure at the time as to why I like him; something about his design just felt, I dunno, just right? Anyway, Bash is the #1 reason why I became interested in Skylanders at all, and in fact, if my memory serves right, he was the first figurine I bought, ever. And even as Skylanders is pretty much gone now, I still care about it somewhat, in fact, I am not as fired up about the Spyro Reignited trilogy as I do Skylanders solely because Bash likely isn't going to be in there.

In case you're wondering about his anthro form here, it just so happened that I decided to anthro him quite a long while ago (in addition to later anthro-ing some other Skylanders dragons too), so yeah

In a maybe unrelated note, at some point I came to notice the MOBA (or as I used to simply call it, Dota game) League of Legends. Having played DotA in Warcraft 3 client long ago, I decided to check it out. My initial reaction was mostly so and so, but my interest suddenly spiked as soon as I saw they have Renekton, the Egyptian-ish crocman. While he has never been my favorite character to play the game, he is also the main reason why I finally became interested in League of Legends, even if I don't play it that much anymore. And my liking to Renekton went up drastically when I saw his Pool Party skin; it's just so damn cool, so damn funny, and hands down one of the best skins in League, ever

Why I somehow, to put it in simple terms, fell in love at first sight with Bash and Renekton (to the point of liking their respective games because of them alone), I never quite understood myself for quite a while, but recently I might have found the answer:

I have a soft spot for crocs.

I dunno why, but as much as I am aware crocodilians are vicious animals that I probably can never pet my whole life without expending a few limbs, I like them. Something about their form and ferocity just felt like, I dunno, awesome? Perfect? Who knows, but crocs are now my favorite animals, and hell, I even designed my fursone based on a crocodile; that's probably how much I'm obsessed with them So I think I like Bash and Renekton from the get go because they are crocodilians X)
(Yes, I know Bash is called an earth dragon, but otherwise he has all the characteristics of a crocodile, namely spiky back and lack of wings. The bulky design is probably not a factor, or maybe yes )

And so this idea of having Bash and Renek in the same scene. Renek is in his Pool Party skin, which as I earlier said is my favorite skin of his (should I maybe petition to Riot Games to make his Pool Party skin his default skin? ), and since I did say that both Renek and Bash are crocodilians, I put Bash in the same outfit. Too lazy to think up a different Pool Party skin

As for the drawing itself, I actually planned to put some trees and other details in the background, but considering how still sucky my BG-drawing skill is (the sand and ocean waves need a LOT of fixing, among others -_-), well, this will do.

Oh, also, I am randomly declaring this month to be a crocodile month, so expect a few more crocodiles in my gallery
