I'd like to know what is the process behind the making of a custom font, I'm really willing to make my very custom font someday, what software does involve, what process of work you tried?

Hi! I used Illustrator for the design and then Font Lab Studio for creating the font.
Font Lab have, practically, the same tools of Illustrator (pen, lines, etc..) but it's full of bug and it's really not intuitive. Unfortunately is a must because it's the only software that allow you to transform a vector in a font. Someone told me that are other online tools that to the same thing but I have never tried it.
