Silence is a state of mind sometimes.Surrounded in a world of noise
It can be found deep inside yourself.
I don't begin to say I understand
Everything going on around me
I just hope maybe I can help you see.
When you feel out in the cold and lonely,
You can look around
And see a world that's truly alive.
I don't ask for your pity
But more your understanding:
Healing takes time while you learn
To do deal with it while you're living.
So you don't lose sight of life
As it whistles past you.
Because time is a bastard sometimes,
It never ever waits for you to see
The roses are really red on some days
And dead on another.
