Description 1. New York City: Despite its many flaws and problems this city has, NYC is my #1 all time favorite city in not just the US, but in the entire world since 2005! It has the best tasting pizza in the world right next to Detroit Style Pizza, iconic buildings like the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Flatiron Building, Woolworth Tower, MetLife Building, One World Trade Center, Hearst Tower, 40 Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, the other New WTC buildings, etc, has iconic touristy spots like Times Square, Central Park, Little Italy, Coney Island, Central Park Zoo, Yankee Stadium, CitiField, Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park, 5th Avenue, Madison Avenue, Wall Street, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and other multiple museums, it is also the birthplace of the skyscraper, hip-hop music, etc. It is also the setting of numerous movies such as Ghostbusters 1 & 2, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, Big, When Harry Met Sally, Splash, Goodfellas, 13 Going On 30, Juice, Secret Life Of Pets, etc. It even has multiple cultural neighborhoods that are populated/influenced by Italian, Czechoslovakian, Polish, Chinese, South Korean, Australian, Indian, Japanese, Israeli/Jewish, Eastern European (Baltic States, Balkans, Russian, Ukrainian), German, African-American, Latin American, etc.

2. Los Angeles: You can thank Grand Theft Auto V for my obsession with Los Angeles since 2015. Despite the heavy traffic on the highways/freeways, the gang violence and activity in South Central LA, and so on. LA has white sandy beaches, and iconic pier in Santa Monica (which has made a lot of appearances in popular culture such as Sharknado, Bedtime Stories, Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, etc), having a very high chance of meeting celebrities in either Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, or Hollywood. It even has iconic and historical buildings such as the City Hall, Grauman’s Chinese Movie Theater, Union Station, Hollywood Bowl, etc. It is also the birthplace of many famous celebrities such as Ice Cube, Andrew Garfield, Willow Smith, Jaden Smith, Kesha, Miranda Cosgrove, Kid Ink, etc. It also has some of the best tasting burgers from In-N-Out, including a famous one near LAX which I’ve seen a lot of aviation geeks accounts on Instagram. It also has great sports teams such as the Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Rams, Chargers, Clippers, and Angels (I’m more into the Lakers than the Clippers and the Dodgers than the Angels)

3. Chicago: Despite the heavy crime rates and gang activity in the South Side, Chicago is still a great city with some great history. I actually been to the airport there about 3 times with my dad. It also has good deep dish pizza, iconic skyscrapers such as the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), John Hancock Center, Trump Tower and Hotel, CSA Building (famously known as big red), and every St Patrick’s Day, the city dyes the river green. It is also another good sports city just like LA, Philadelphia, NYC, San Francisco, and Detroit.

4. Philadelphia: Even though it has TONS of flaws including poverty and gang violence in Uptown, Westside, and South Philly, heavy traffic, and Bill Cosby, I still love Philadelphia ever since I was a little kid. I love the cheesesteaks, Adventure Aquarium, and unique buildings such as Liberty Plaza, Liberty Bell, Comcast Center, etc. I’ve also been a life long fan of the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Flyers, making Philly one of the best sports cities (even though their fanbases are very crazy, but I ain’t like those crazy, rude and obnoxious Philly sports fans).

5. Detroit: Detroit has been seen a massive improvement for the past few years. I’ve visited the first time in 2018 with my mom, uncle Paul and Aunt Susan and let me tell you, my first time visiting Detroit, it wasn’t as run down like people say it is as it has been going through a massive improvement including renovating old buildings and houses and adding newer apartments. I even love their style pizza, Eminem even opened up his own restaurant in Detroit around late 2021 or 2022 called Mom’s Spaghetti as a reference of his 2002 hit “Lose Yourself”. The GM center is my most favorite building in Detroit, and I even rode on the QLine with my mom, Aunt Sue, and her brother Leo.

6. Kansas City: I do not understand why Kansas City is in Missouri and not in Kansas. But despite this, I love the city and unique architecture. I’ve been there in 2015, in fact that is where I got my scoliosis surgery done at the Children’s Mercy Hospital in November 2015 when I was 14. They also got LEGOLand, Sea Life Aquarium, and a shopping center called Crown Center. The people are also very passionate about their teams. The Chiefs and Royals (Fun Fact: Kansas City used to have an NBA Team called the Kings until they moved to Sacramento in 1985). They also have unique barbecue as well.

7. Atlanta: Perhaps one of the most historical cities in the US. Atlanta has a lot of things such as the Georgia Aquarium where its main tank can hold up to 4 whale sharks and even manta rays. They also got the Coca Cola Museum and HQ, Delta Airlines Musuem where they have a life sized Boeing 747, MLK Jr Museum which what used to be MLK Jr’s childhood home, Mercedes Benz Stadium home of the Hawks and Falcons, and the Braves Stadium.

8. Dallas: Sure the traffic is very heavy in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but it does have unique buildings including the Reunion Tower where the observation deck gives you a panoramic view of the Downtown Dallas skyline. Even though their football team the Cowboys has a very insane fanbase, they also got a zoo, aquarium and even an aviation museum in Fort Worth.

9. San Diego: SeaWorld, Universal, Padres you name it. NTM, it is also the setting of Top Gun (1986) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022). They even have a KC Barbecue Bar and Grill where they have pictures and memorabilia of the 1986 blockbuster Top Gun. It is also have a huge population of Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard members. They even do air shows every year at the Marine and Naval Air Base in Miramar.

10. Las Vegas: Elvis Presley cosplayers, Raiders, high tech football stadium, and the sphere. Las Vegas even has unique hotels and casinos and is very beautiful at night.
