Contest Entry for !! Its a very awesome and exciting contest, please check it out~Rewritten Contest [CLOSED]ALL ENTRIES ARE NOW DUE AND SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED!!! We are no longer accepting submissions unless you have my permission. For those who've missed the contest, do not fret! We will begin a new contest soon! At this moment we will have the judges begin the judging process!
Thank you for everyone contributing to this group!! There are tons of beautiful submissions and it's gonna be tough to choose the winners! I can't wait to see how the second contest will go
EDIT: 6-23-15 ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE BY 12:01 a.m. CT (central standard time) June 25th. As soon as the 24th is up in my time zone I will close the contest and no further submissions will be accepted unless you were posting while I was closing the contest. Remember, we will have a second contest. So if you miss this one, try your luck with the next one!!

I tried my best to finish this before spring break ends, since I wouldn't have time to draw when I have school. XD

Title and Theme:Alice: Lost in Time and Space
omg lol I can't think of a title, so I'll just make it the same as the theme.
When you're really focused reading books, you don't really care whats happening around you, you don't feel or notice the time pass by. Reading books makes your imagination work, sometimes you feel that you're in the same world that you're reading. At first, I have been struggling thinking of what to draw, but then, I thought of Alice being lost in time, instead of wonderland lol, so I added clocks, and then I thought that space background would suit the artwork more, so It ended up as Alice being lost in time, and space. haha I added the cat,rabbit and hatter's hat later on,to symbolize the characters in wonderland. ahh I hope it fits the theme!! > ^ <

I'm not that good at giving advices but, try to experiment with the colors and also,
try to mix different colors that would suit each other, like in my opinion, yellow
suits all colors, so I always use it in my drawings, for highlights and stuff. Adding shades and glows helps too! Just keep in mind where the light is coming from. Or, another thing that I do was to observe some of my favorite artists' styles and try to like learn from it (but not copy lol)So yeah, just keep practicing, and I'm sure you'll be able to come up with your own coloring technique! I hope it helps. >//<
