***FULL VIEW PLEASE***It's the cover for my webcomic called Ashe-Fallen. The black looks horrible--I know. I used a Sharpie, what can you expect? Anyway, I wish I could have colored the white background, but unfortunately, lack of Copic ink, fear of using another media wrecking it, and undecisive-ness for a color stopped me. Enjoy. (This project is killing me...) D:

Is this an actual comic? Sweet, I'm looking forward to reading it. I took the Holocaust and Genocide Studies at school and I'm very passionate in the importance of tolerance and awareness when it comes to something as horrible as genocide.

Oooh~ I love the multiple tones in his hair.
His eyes really stand out, probably cause they're the only cool colored things I guess.
I think the white background is a wise choice. It would kill me trying to color evenly around feathers with markers. > . < Colored pencil might work though if you keep it consistent. A nice grey colored pencil would make it all gloomeh~

The highlights on the black look fantastic! And you say you did them with sharpie? They're so clean!
Coloring the background would be tricky, due to the feathers, and in some ways the white is necessary for te feathers. Whenevery you see a sccene like that, it's usually on a bright background, representing "heavenliness" I suppose. Just a thought.
