Florence Chiroptera, cousin of Selene and once spare to the family line with her husband Garret and daughters Rowena and Eva.

Due to Selene's parents having a hard time having children who survived long, a backup was needed. Vladimir, Selene's grandfather decided that if Bram did not have a surviving child when the time came his bastard half brother, Abraham's, child would become heir.

Against the odds, Selene survived to adulthood and had three children of her own, making Florence unneeded as far as the succession was concerned. She felt forever bitter about this, and instilled in her daughters, mostly Rowena, that they deserved more then they had. Especially since Rowena was born a white bat, like her second cousin.

Rowena would of course get what her mother wanted in a way; her own granddaughter Erzebet being the current family heir.
