I think I'm still coasting off my Whitebeard Pirate high that I for some reason am going through as of late. I think I will draw one of Thatch next, just to complete the trio XD and then I think I need to do an updated Law picture XDRelated content

I like the way you go about your flames. The whole picture, but especially in the flames you have a very new-age style with a twist of colorful simplicity to it because whereas it is by no means simple, it has a nice clean feel to it despite being something as wild and uncontrollable as flame. I meant to mention something similar on your Marco drawing, but like I said, I was very tired, lol.
Your style in digital is a little different than your style in painting and traditional, but it still has a similar essence to it that I really like!

Thank you very much! XD I tried to go for a realistic flame but I'm afraid I don't quite have the skill down yet, but I am happy with the way that they turned out. As for my Marco picture I really dislike it XD I have another one that isn't quite finished yet in my sketchbook. I'm planning to turn it into a print that I can sell at a convention next year XD
Yes, I have two different styles XD sometimes I like it sometimes I don't. I find that I tend to draw better with a pencil than I do on a tablet, if for no other reason than I have more experience with a pencil XD

I can see why you aren't as happy with your Marco picture. It's not really something I can put my finger on, but if I had to guess, I'd say that it's difficult to get such oddly colored flames. I liked your style for it, but getting that color mix blended just right might be the key. Other than that, I couldn't really say much else that I noticed. The flames might have been a tiny bit too transparent at certain parts. Not sure, it's been a little ways since I saw it.
I look forward to seeing it, and I think it's really neat that you sell your work at a convention.
I getcha. My style looks different depending on whether I use colors or not. Some pictures match better with one more-so than the other.
A tablet seems like it would be a bit awkward to me, having to look at a screen while drawing on a pad. I would lose my place on the picture so often I'd imagine. Do you find that true?

Yeah I don't like the green in Marco's flames, it looks more like grass and I absolutely hate it. Plus the shading and lack of lines on his face really bothers me >:C

It was awkward at first but you just get used to it after a while XD with some things I MUCH prefer to use my tablet but the pencil is something I can always rely on to get exactly what I want out of a drawing XD

I would imagine so. After hearing that, if the opportunity arises, I suppose I would like to get a cheap tablet to try it out, then.
But I know for sure that I will always be mainly a traditional artist, as well.

I know XD it's a really bad habit that happens every time I go to one XD I actually applied for my first table but didn't make my submission in time and got wait listed DX Funny thing is though, it only took me a MINUTE (literally I'm not joking or exaggerating in the slightest) to fill it out and send it in O.O How crazy is that?

It feels like you're returning somewhere that the inspiration has long lost. It feels almost like if you work on it, it won't be all your work, more of a collaboration between you and your past, not so good at art, self. It's easier to just start another drawing of whatever it is next time you have the motivation.
Wow, that's crazy. I don't know if you already went- If so, was it very busy? If not, do you think it was so easy to get in because it's losing popularity? Or maybe they just really wanted you to come?
Well, I don't know how good it'll be, but I feel inclined to.
