really lovely, the only thing that i can point out is that the girls reflection should probably been seen in the water. i love the colors and the raven by the water add an extra eerie feeling to it. nice work as always

I thought about the reflection, but I decided against it becasue she's not hovering over it after all... and I wanted the water to look unnatural.

i didnt really understand the title, but i hope you dont mind my putting up my own interpretation of this absolutely marvelous pic...:
the weather is stormy, yet there is some light to be seen, and if the birds are still in the sky, it cant be that bad. the structure is dirty and brokendown but in the middle of it we have a small pool full of clear, rippling water, and it is good for no bird would stay near contaminated liquid. the girl hides her face, but like we have a pool of purity within the ruins, so we know that on the inside, the girl is beautiful like the pool of clear, cool water...
damn..that sounds so lame, but *shrugs* that's just my interpretation...
