Description Another version of Winter Wishes...

I don't dream of burning pretty little poodles to ashes, no... but some of my drawings, yes.

I seem to produce these fiery works every now and then. See for example Fire in Your Heart and Inferno .

I saw the title of this and instantly got "Bathing Beauty" from Love Never Dies stuck in my head, except with "Burning" instead.

Strange how unexpected associations ramdom titles can cause.

Lovely work!

Poodle of hell , that sounds appropriate. I sometimes call my poodle as Beast-Panther, for a reason.

Thank you. I used a very simple old program that isn't even worth mentioning, nothing fancy there. Glad you liked this. And sorry for the horribly late reply.

with the bouffant hair of the poodle, this works really well actually. She could almost be a hellhound. Not the kind of portrayal of poodles you would normally see, lol!

I love both versions! But I long since gave up asking brilliant artists why they hate their own work... I guess that's why you get so good, 'cause you're always trying to do better..?

Thanks! I don't count myself as a brilliant artist but my take on hating my own works (not all of them of course) is simply that I'm too much of a perfectionist, not just with drawing but life in general. Everything is either perfectly right or if it's not, it's a total catastrophe. There's hardly any choice inbetween. So, if a drawing isn't perfect, I will most likely never see in it anything but the flaws no matter how small they were. It's extremely frustrating but it makes you strive for better all the time.

I'm replying terribly late as usual... sorry.
