Before anyone asks - no, this is not Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow. I assure you that it's nothing unusual if you see the likeness there somewhere, though. Anyway, this is something way better: Tuomas Holopainen, the one-of-a-kind composer/lyricist/keyboardist/mastermind/soul of Nightwish. He's the music itself.

This is not something you're supposed to stare nose close to the screen, so please, back off a bit. I prefer to watch this from at least a couple of meters away from the screen myself.

Maybe I wouldn't call this as my masterpiece but I think this is already one of my favourites among all my work and probably the best portrait I've ever made. This was not intended to be photorealistic; all I wanted was enough likeness to make it recognizable. I hope it's there. I've been staring at this for a couple of weeks and countless hours now and to be honest this is too close to me at the moment that I could have an opinion about it.
