Yeah, originally it WAS going to end differently--but then FP33 and I had a talk about it and, well, I found some morals. LOL!! And a long lost Persian friend.

I like when they wait too, but I originally had no idea how I was going to make it work out that way. Truly, this story told itself, because as I sat down to write it, I had a vague idea of what I wanted to happen, but I had no idea how to make it happen. I had no idea that Christine was going to save him. I just wanted a miracle, and I envisioned the miracle being the end of the story, so I had no idea I'd be able to fit that little wedding scene in. I wasn't even sure Erik could have a wedding, since he had no legal identity. But luckily, Rahim is a crafty devil! LOL.
Anyway, I much prefer it the way it worked out, but really, it WOULD have been incredibly difficult to control one's self at that moment. Thus, Rahim!
