I actually ave a theory that it's Rey, not Anakin, who's the true chosen one in the prophecy. There's a theory that Sidious "created" Anakin by manipulating the midiclorians in an attempt to create the chosen one to work it in his favor (which almost worked). However, Rey is the true prophesied who who will bring balance to the Force, which is clearly unbalanced, and never was fully balanced since Snoke has been around even after Sidious' death. This is why Rey is so strong with the Force and everything comes so naturally for her.

I have a hypothesis about that.
I think that Rey is the last survivor of Luke's class of Jedi students. Luke managed to save her from being killed by the Knights of Ren, but he was overcome by depression that he couldn't bring himself to take care of her.
The reason that she could do all of the force powers and lightsaber use was because, subconsciously, she already knew that she couldΒ do it.

I suspect she was trained from a young age, which would explain why she knew how to use The Force, she had just forgotten it and needed to remember what she'd learned. I think maybe Rey is Luke's daughter and he trained her. I think Luke has depression too since he's isolated himself from everyone, even his sister and appears to have basically given up on life (he seems to have suffered a similar fate as Obi-Wan after he lost Anakin). It would make sense considering what he went through and I'm pretty sure his father, Anakin was mentally ill (possibly including depression) and his motherΒ died of aΒ broken heart.
