They were chased out from their original pride when a new male killed their father and took over. They did not want to listen to his new rules and were so chased out. They eventually meet Echo and her sisters, and they decide to travel together. Zora took to Echo, fascinated by the unique lioness. Echo is partly jealous by her fur, wishing she had her fur color so she could be normal. Zora teaches the young lioness what she knows about neighboring Prides, and helps her start loving herself.
