Quick question. I have brushes installed but they aren't appearing in the same area on the side menu. Like the things available in the drop-down menus are swapped and ones like wet skin just aren't showing up at all even though it's installed

you might have put them in their opposite folder, also if you have over 50 files in a folder they won't show up

I was putting brush texturs in the brush tex folder thinking "oh hey this makes sense" but after a tedious troubleshooting session I figured it out. Brush textures go in the blotmap folder and If I want it as a paper texture I put it in the Brush tex and paper tex folder.

ah, tbh it's a common mistake, i've had a few people note me over it but i rarely use the first version of sai anymore so i'm pretty outta working with it. i'm glad you got it sorted though!

Yeah I tried using Sai 2 to emulate some of the brushes here, but since there are a few extra settings that I had no clue what to do with so they didn't always work like intended.

ngl sai 2 is tricky with its brush settings but once you get the hang of manipulating them it's relatively easy copying brushes like these - though i'm posting a tutorial for someone on tumblr that will likely have my sai 2 settings included which i'll link once up

How do i get these amazing brushes? I am a noob to settings in SAI and i need help D:

you download the things i have linked, have sai closed before you place them in their respective folder (it'll either be elemap, blotmap or brushtex depending - elemap and blotmap are the top settings, brushtex is the bottom), run an application called start-sai.exe (its probably spelt differently) - there's a download link supplied in my deviation comments. there after the new textures are installed and you can move the sliders on your respective brushes so they match the ones i have up here.

i dont really understand your wording, if you did everything you'd have them? you have to have the settings installed and then make new brushes to get these settings done.

You've got to match the settings to the exact way my example is.
Advanced settings should be open and then just slide everything to match mine

nothing's wrong with your sai you just more than likely dont have it installed.

This is not a thing you can download, these are settings. You can download the things linked but otherwise on my part it's just a case of making your brush settings look the same.
