Well, when I was designing her, her hair looked like a mouse, so I started drawing her like a mickey mouse reference
She's also a little inspired by the character Cheza from Wolf's Rain...a free-spirited, somewhat tragic young girl, who dances around and doesn't say much...so you can't really tell what she's thinking.
