Entry made for the contest.
this took about a week, on and off. and yes, it was coloured entirely with coloured pencils. the scanner took away some of the colours, especially the background, which makes me a bit sad.
anyway, this character is called Yenny. she's a ten-year-old girl who sings and dances without a care in the world. she's brave and dreams big, and she is too young to be scared of failure or falling.

out of the six theme words i chose sky, dream and inspiration. but if you look closely, you'll be able to find elements of love, sound and joy as well.
