This is for . I hope they'll post it.This took a lot of time. I almost didn't finish it. It took so long I almost gave up on it. The teal robe is a bit Asian and Slytherin looks a bit like Clow Read. XD
Oh well, Godric Gryffindor asking Salazar Slytherin for a dance.

Yay! I am huge supporter of Godric is a large manly bloke and is probably reckless with impulse control problems as well as much like Harry in his "saving people thing". Scrawny little boy he is not. I have never even THOUGHT of him as possibly that way until I saw some of the pics here and read some comments. While I think Salazar might be more experienced (*nudge* *nudge* winkwink) Godric's not exactly a blushing schoolgirl. Slytherin is smexy and his ponytail is awesome. Asian inspired works for me. Those two are so cute and I ship them happily with an eagerness that frightens people. I feel sad that if there ever was a relationship between them the times would never have allowed for them to dance at balls and have fun together. *sighs*

I have no idea why some people make Godric so much younger and less experienced than Salazar. I always imagined him just as if not a little more.
I know, poor Godric and Salazar would have to keep a pretty low key. But then it is their castle and they are the most powerful wizards in the world. Godric could take anyone who doesn't like the snogging. XD

I can TOTALLY see Godric hexing or just punching the lights out of anyone who had issues with them. I figure Helga and Rowena would probably accept them too, so they might have been a little freer than many couples at the time. The only reason I say I think Salazar might be a little more experienced is that Godric being manly and all might not have come to terms with his feelings for other men as easily as Salazar did. He's a real man's man and I can see him being a bit disconcerted by it, but not in a wimpy way. For some reason I see Salazar as handling it a bit better. They are adorable and I wish there was more fanfiction and fanart for them.

I assume that Godric would be the protective type like that. Got a problem, hex it.
Oh, you meant more experienced with men. I think it's hard to say on both sides. Godric is a man's man and so that kind of thing would be hard for him to come to terms with but Slytherins in general are very conservative and traditional. I assume Salazar was as well. To me, I think Godric would have a little bit of an easier time.
On the fic note, I wish people would write more of them too. The only reason I don't do more art is because I have a really hard time drawing these two.

Why have I never thought of this pairing before? D: Oh well, I'm definitely supporting it now.
And for the record I think of Godric in the same way you do: strong, tall, masculine and earthy (If that last one makes sense). He should be because his house is the strength of the school afterall. While it makes sense that Salazar would have a more slender body since "shallow" bodies seem to be a trait of Slytherins.
Though Salazar does look more pleasant and approachable then I imagined him to be. This must be while there's no acid between the houses huh? Forgive me if I'm being ignorant, I've not read the HP books for a few years. Must do that again sometime. 
Oh, and the robes Salazar is wearing suit him.

A lot of people make Godric too tiny and not as rustic. I kinda think of him as a more violent human Mufasa. I am such a Disney geek.
He was supposed to be a jerk but I really never saw Salaza that way. I imagined him as more of a hothead with iffy ideas. XD
I love robe designs. The movies butchered that though.

Yeah most people do. I did at first but somewhere along the way my inner founders got warped and well Sal is blonde and Rowena's a redhead so balck haired Godric isn't ahuge stretch! I like red haired Godric too especially here. He looks so happy.

Love this, seriously. I adore this picture to hell. I do, I LOVE Salazar's hair! He has it in a ponytail! Whee! I love the lighter green sash thingys that Salazar has on his clothing! It looks so elegant and lovely and I want it!
Right, onto Godric. I love this dude so much this picture makes me love him even more! I love how you've done his hair and his beard, his hair is so waaaaaavey~! I love how you haven't made him a little kid like many people do, not complaining, since I am guilty of doing that myself, but you've drawn him your way, not the way other people tend to.

Firstly I'm so glad you like it. I really wanted to make something worth posting with this one.
I was alittle nervous about making dear old Salazar wear Asian inspired clothes. Despite the fact that all Asian clothes are WONDERFUL. I don't generally draw Salazar with a ponytail but it was a ball after all and you have to look nice. XD
I kinda base Godric's look on lions. His long hair and beard are supposed to look a bit like a mane. He also has a big nose because well, I like big noses and he is usually portrayed so slender. I see him as a big burly guy.
So glad you like it. Godric and Salazar need the love.

For a startled minute I thought this was Seregil and Micum from the Nightrunner series! Very cool...I've never thought much about the Hogwarts forerunners...and the idea of Salazar and Godric...hee. Ee.

Though too many people like to make Godric some tiny naive little boy toy and not a huge, hairy hothead with impulse control problems. (That's about my take on him. XD) But then I'm not a fan of femme ukes (I have no other term for that.) in slash.
