Oh what a feeling to be back on Persia. She was always something else, delicate but powerful, gracious but intense, and oh how she matched Alexa. Two blue eyes brunettes with their diva attitudes and fiery reactions, they were mostly the reflection of the other - two beautiful fire crackers. A perfect team, one would dare to say - and surprisingly. It's no surprise that she was the mare that pushed that Italian rider to pursue a career in dressage, such potential and connection could not be ruined by a rider unable to follow that greatness. It was worth the time,the stress, and the sweat.
Indeed, such situation sure made her enter the warmup ring with a certain hesitation. What if they weren't ready, why wasn't it the same thrill as entering the reining class. The pressure of the dressage community sure wheigted on Alexa's shoulders, not that she wasn't loving riding and the discipline. But how deep down she felt unqualified to ride such a horse and present amongst the others; not that Al' would ever admit it, her ego would not take that but she was sadly unable to lie to herself. She took a deep breath, thightned the cinch and dropped the stirrups, it was time to put her bad bitch mask on and show the world that she had not lost an inch of her confidence, even with the fact that Persia had not performed since Toronto, that she popped some foals since. Really, she was here to prove that moms do it better, just two curvy mamacitas ready to crush the competiton. Yes, that is what they were.

... Or at least she hoped, Alexa chuckled at her own thoughts, put a foot in her stirrup, one, two, hop- she lifted herself in the saddle while Persia only sighted loudly. Why did her owner had to be such a wreck. But soon enough they were strolling around the other riders - that got no look from her - her cold -freezing I'd even say attitude on, may it be to intimidate the competiton, to keep the face for the media or simply to convince herself that this is what she really was. Fake it till you make it honey.

And hell Alexa was definitely minded to fake, and then be the greatest fucking rider out there tonight. Too much time had been put into getting back at it, Persia was on top of her shape again and it would be such an insult to let her down.

From maneuver to maneuver, she finally came back to her usual focus, trying all the buttons, all the broken pieces of her Kür. Everything worked well, it would continue to do so as long as the mind would stay on track, there was no reasons for anything to do so... Unless the equipement broke.... * Did I verified this..? And what about that?? * Instantly thought Al, her mind racing already. And as an Answer Persia pinned her ears and gladly threw one lazy buck so her human would snap out of it; and hell she was right to do so.

Either way, with or without the overthinking the warmup got to an end. The microphone called their number and their names; show must go on. From a second to another the attitude of the team screamed royalty, a bad bitch team with a bad bitch theme, the song was about to compliment them in the most perfect fashion.
