Well, the ornament is more a modernist or tribal thing, specially with decorative emphasis, like for example, with a female portrait.
For me abstract is something that you donΒ΄t understand just by looking at it.

Abstract art - a product of the untalented??? Well, thanks a lot. -__-
Many people think it's so easy to make something abstract and at the same time good, but actually it's not. Especially in traditional art and in photography. It takes a lot to get the hang of it. Sure, there are a lot of people who try creating abstract art and fail, but in EVERY genre there are people like that. No need to judge the whole art genre like that... And even when there are people who are not fond of abstract art, they don't have the right to call abstract artists untalented.
