Reminds me of a scene from "Schindler's list", except the little girl didn't have a red balloon, but from what I remember had a red coat. Great shot! I love red balloons! It's great you go to capture the moment. Added to favourites.

haha this is just perfect.. Even though the colors are pretty dull, which I like, I love all the darker tones contrasted with the red balloon, and a little girl holding it makes it all the more sweeter. like all the blueness also.. Good photo all around

when i was a young boy i remember to see a movie in TNT, which was repeted on and on, that as far i can remember was about a little boy who had lost his red ballon, and passed all the movie looking for it..
your picture reminds me of that film (which i dont know the name)
