I know I'm not the only fan who has used this name/cutie mark idea. I'm just surprised that there isn't a canon character by this name. How could the creators not use it, it's a cool name. Anyway, I've been sitting on my idea for Zap, mainly because the fanfic I wanted him in came to a stand still. Not to mention, it feels outdated with where the show is going, and I wanted to revise it to fit the newer episodes.

Anyway, this design is basically what he'll look like, although I'm still tweeking a few details. His mane length and style changes as he ages. His background changed from my initial thoughts. At first, I wanted him to be Apple trio sibling's father, and that he ran away from his family when his wife died from birthing complications with Apple Bloom. But after seeing the episode with Bright Mac and Pear Butter, I decided against it. Instead, he's going to be Bright Mac's youngest brother, and the age difference will be big, much like Big Mac and Apple Bloom. But they are still close. I also want Zap to be slightly responsible for Bright Mac's fault, so much so that he's left the farm for a decade out of guilt. I plan on going into more detail later.
