Description This commission took a whopping 27 hours of hard work and it pushed me to work at a higher level. I think I compete with those other popular DA artists now XD Woot! This is for Aeon in SL, a special gift to his one and only. I hope they both love it as much as I do ^^ Enjoy!

Time spent: 27 hours, cost: Over $800 for labor, materials, printing, and shipping. I made $270.

This was one of the biggest challenges I ever faced in a commission cause I typically fail at perspective or doing rigid things like furniture XD I'm happy with how it came out ^^

Great work, I can really tell that you pushed yourself. Especially in the lineart.

With the coloring I have a few notes though, most-left bedposter: the fabric could use deeper shadows where shadows are falling. The right headside bedpost could actually have a slightly deeper tone alltogether to give more depth. Undersides of the bed and dressers - same thing, more shadows considering the few lightsources. Lastly, I think you could do something colorwise to give the big rug a bit of volume, at the moment it looks completely flat.

Good work, I'm sure they'll love it!

Thank you, this was one of the most challenging pictures I have made so far just because the background alone was so much work. They received their pics in the mail yesterday, the guy who commissioned it and his girlfriend, and he sent me a pic of it hanging on his wall, he was so excited so I am glad it's well-loved ^^

And yeah, there are some spots that I could have done more work on but I was on a tight time frame and I was pushing 9-10 hours a day and my eyes were straining so badly it was making me feel ill cause I hooked my computer up to my 32" HDTV... maybe that's not so good for doing art XD; When I zoomed in the picture was so huge I had to do it in chunks cause it was 20" x 30", and so parts of the drapery and things that needed some more attention didn't get it as much, but when zoomed out overall it looks pretty good. I wasn't sure when I began how to capture candlelight either but I think I did okay for a first try XD

Anywho, thank you for the comments and crit ^^
