Leiji Matsumoto created this classic, Galaxy Express 999, which was made into a movie in 1979. This is the oldest anime in my Inktober series thus far, and one I remember fondly. I used to read the manga on the school bus in my Animerica magazines way back. It's also on YouTube to watch for free, so I re-watched it to refresh my memory and it still holds up!
