Description
The prompt for this sketchbook assignment was "a wish." I wish that I could reach out and shatter my depression with the touch of my hand as if depression was a disease which trapped me in a glass prison. I wish it was that simple.
I used the color blue to emphasize a sad tone, not because the amulet is blue. However, the fact that I was able to make the amulets stand out by applying color (without deviating from the color blue) helped convey the meaning behind My Thoughts Like Poison. The reason I blurred the background is because I didn't want anyone to be able to easily read it. I filled the background with negative thoughts.
