Beautiful drawing. I like the style and the texture you've created with the markers. I also like that it's almost monochrome. This reminds me of a self-portrait I had started. I should finish it. 
I've never heard of that book. Maybe I should check it out.

Yup. Very good book in the teenage genre. The second one "Linger" is better - faster paced.

Defintely worth finishing. Picks up in the second half of the book. Just finished "Linger" (the sequel) earlier today. That is awesome too.

I keep meaning to pick up that novel. It sounds pretty good. Love this picture! Very cool! I love how it looks like a vector but it's traditional! Such a neat style.

Thank you. I'm really into the vector look. I started checking out comic book styles a a few years ago, and noticed the vector feel. One of my favorite artists, Nati [link] uses kind of a vector feel in some of her earlier stuff.
I love portraiture, so it kind of progressed into my new style.
