*This is my friends baby who was born 3 months premature, he weighed 2 pnds at birth and lost a pound the day after. He is now almost 2 months old, 5 pounds and came home on Thanksgiving. He is doing well but must remain being monitored due to his fragile state. We have faith in him, he's a wide eyed fighter. I took this photo in the hospital and proceeded to lie to the mom telling her none of the photos came out good. I am going to frame this and give it to them as a Chrstmas present (hopefully they won't see this first, I'm excited to share and my fingers are crossed they don't come here
)

He's so small 
I was also born at least 3 months premature and i've been told it was excruciatingly hard/stressful for my parents.

he is doing great! getting very big all though I don't get to see him because I don't live there but I hear him on the phone. He's half Asian and half white so that boy is going to be a heart breaker when he gets older

I was born 2 and a half months premature and weighed almost five pounds (what a fatty!) But anyway, I'm sure that he'll grow up to be big boy.

How is baby doing now?
I had my youngest premature by three months also.
I wouldn't dream of advance critisizing a photo of a preemie...those kinds of photos transend even art...they are affirmations that life will continue...every single day is a victory.

He has gotten so big and so ridiculously cute. It's amazing how much we can grow from such itty bitty things. I wish I could see him more to get update photos of him but I don't live there any more.

You were featured somewhere else too...there was a journal with about 75 baby pics from DA...very artfully done, like a story...and your photo was there in a section...just it, and I noticed the baby was a preemie.
But I dont recall who the journal belongs to.
Anyways...you shared something special, and I am glad people are getting to see it, because when a preemie lives it really is a modern miracle!
My girl will be 6 in August and is strong and healthy...from a start as a 1 pounder.

Yeah I saw the news feature which was very cool. It's always an honor when someone randomly likes what you do.
Glad to hear you girl is doing good. No kids for me yet but I can only imagine what something like this would be like to go through. Parenthood alone is hard but I give a big pat on the back to those who push forward and make good things come.

Beautiful photo and what a wonderful gift to give the parents. My youngest son was 2 pounds 10 ounces at birth.....that was 12 and a half years ago....he's a big boy now! Hope all is well with this little guy now!
